AERIAL STRAPS - Paris Goncourt - 20H30 à 22H30
Aerial straps are a discipline of contemporary circus that combines strength, flexibility, balance, and creativity.
This art form involves performing aerial movements using two suspended straps. It allows artists to suspend themselves and manipulate their bodies in a fluid and dynamic way, while developing valuable physical and mental skills.

Our circus school aims to integrate the teaching of aerial straps by creating a balanced program that combines safety, technical progression, and artistic expression. The program is open to students of all levels, with a differentiated approach for beginners, intermediate, and advanced practitioners.

This year-long program is designed to provide consistent and structured aerial straps training for adults, blending technical development, artistic expression, and safety. It includes weekly classes as well as intensive workshops during school holidays, and is built around the educational framework of RuePublique.

Objectives:
-
Develop physical abilities: strength, flexibility, coordination, balance, and agility.
-
Foster self-confidence: managing fear, taking controlled risks, and pushing personal limits.
-
Encourage artistic expression: incorporating aerial straps into individual and group creations.
-
Ensure student safety: applying a rigorous approach to safety and best practices.

With the support of Tristan Robquin a French circus artist, who graduated in 2018 from the National Circus School (ENC) in Montreal, specializing in aerial straps. Coming from a family of artists, he developed a passion for movement from an early age. After exploring dance and acrobatics, he chose to dedicate himself to circus, considering it the foundation of his artistic reflection and identity.
In Montreal, he discovered performance art, a discipline where he saw a promising future. He began merging circus and performance in his work. Under the guidance of Peter James, he developed a new creation that pushes this approach of "circus-performance" even further.
In addition to his artistic career, Tristan Robquin teaches aerial straps, sharing his passion and expertise with new generations of artists.
